Counselling Can Make a World of Difference.
Individual Counselling
Every person is on a journey towards optimal living. People experience unique obstacles throughout their lifespan that may interfere with their rational ability to manage emotions and solve problems. As your counsellor I will provide a safe space to discuss your inner most difficulties and through skillful exploration, problems that seem insurmountable become understood in new ways. By investigating new possibilities, overwhelming problems are rendered manageable. This will help you feel more in control of your life. My sensitive approach to counselling can help make the difference you have been longing for and help connect you with a new sense of hope.
Trauma
Counselling
Anyone who has experienced trauma will know that it can be very emotionally painful and can elicit feelings of shame, helplessness, and powerlessness. Trauma can be a one-time event like an accident , or it may have been ongoing like abuse by a parent or intimate partner. It may have happened a long time ago, or happened more recently.
If you are unable to cope with the feelings you are experiencing , or you are not able to function on a day-to-day basis, trauma therapy can help.
As your counsellor I take careful steps to help make sure you feel as safe as possible by meeting you where you are. With kindness and support I can help you face your fears, and help equip you with coping skills so that you are better able to live a more balanced and meaningful life.
